The story of singing bowls dates back to ancient times when craftsmen collected minerals from the Himalayan mountains. These artisans would then mix the minerals with copper, tin, lead, zinc, iron, gold, silver, and mercury in varying proportions to create singing bowls through the laborious process of hand hammering. As a result, each singing bowl is unique in size, shape, and composition, and emits its own distinct sound frequency. Even if the same artisan were to use the same metal recipe and work tirelessly, it would still be nearly impossible to replicate an identical bowl.

-
Reducing internal stress

Purifying water and food
-
Enhancing concentration and awareness

WEIGHT
Due to the different metal ratios and techniques used by the past masters, the old singing bowls are noticeably lighter in weight than the new ones of a similar size when held in the hand.
SOUND
The sound of a new singing bowl tends to be brighter and clearer. For beginners learning to play the singing bowl, it is recommended to start with a new one. New singing bowls are more affordable and their clear sound can capture the curiosity and attention of children. Even in public settings without professional microphone recording, we also suggest using a new singing bowl. This is because the sound of an old singing bowl carries a sense of ancient ambiance and can be especially emotionally moving.
BENEFIT
Both new and old singing bowls are great tools for energy purification and balancing, each with their unique sound that reflects their individual personalities. The sound of an old singing bowl is more distant and steady, and it serves as a seasoned companion to aid in meditation and energy work. By listening to its sound, one can feel guided to follow the flow of energy and strike the bowl accordingly.
On the other hand, a new singing bowl is like a young practitioner with a clear, bright, and open personality. However, as years go by and with more usage, the bowl's resonance becomes more refined. Therefore, the best way to maintain a singing bowl is to use it frequently, as it will enhance the resonance and make it sound even better with time.
